How to see estimated ESG for a Hargreaves Lansdown portfolio
Atmos ESG is an iPhone app that reads a screenshot of holdings you already have and estimates environmental, social and governance scores for the names it can recognise. It is not a Hargreaves Lansdown product, feed, or partner.
What HL shows (and what it doesn’t)
Hargreaves Lansdown shows funds, shares, ISAs and performance. It may surface fund sustainability labels from the manager. That is not the same as a labelled E/S/G split of the companies on your book. Atmos estimates recognised holdings from a screenshot you choose. Estimates, not licensed ratings, not advice.
Screenshot that OCR is written for
In Atmos, pick the closest broker layout (often other / generic holdings if HL is not named yet), then capture a list or tiles view where tickers or company names are readable. OCR runs on your device. The image is not stored. Messy crops can miss names — you can edit the list before scoring.
What this page will never claim
Atmos is not the official HL ESG rating. Estimates do not match MSCI or Sustainalytics. A higher score will not outperform. This is not a reason to buy or sell anything in an ISA or SIPP.
