What Atmos ESG Is

Atmos ESG provides ESG analytics, sustainability education, and portfolio tracking tools only. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Atmos ESG is not a regulated financial adviser, broker, or fiduciary. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

Data Sources

Atmos ESG does not license data from MSCI, Sustainalytics, or other paid rating agencies. Scores combine curated public estimates, optional web-sourced intel, sector benchmarks, and company-specific adjustments where we maintain them. Coverage and accuracy vary by holding.

Data is resolved in this order:

  1. Verified profiles — manually curated estimates for selected public tickers.
  2. Web intel — parsed from public sources when confidence is high (requires API configuration).
  3. Private company profiles — conservative estimates for known unlisted names.
  4. Industry model — sector benchmark with ticker-specific variation (clearly marked Estimated).

How Scores Are Calculated

Environmental, Social, and Governance pillar scores (0–100) are derived from available metric fields, weighted by GICS sector materiality (SASB-inspired defaults). The composite score is a weighted average of E, S, and G. Incomplete data may reduce the composite by up to 10%.

Framework-style checks (SFDR, TCFD, EU Taxonomy labels) are simplified in-app heuristics — not regulatory certifications. They run only on verified data sources.

Framework Reports

Framework labels (SFDR, TCFD, EU Taxonomy) shown in framework reports are educational approximations for discussion and internal review. They must not be used as evidence of regulatory compliance without independent verification.

Atmos Points

Atmos Points are promotional loyalty credits with no fixed cash value. Point costs for rewards may change before redemption. Qualification tiers reflect app analytics — not regulatory compliance or investment suitability.
